exhaust clearance FPA headers

460 with FPA shorty headers is sitting in my 64 galaxie. I have a Lokar
cable throttle/pedal. It looks like a tight squeeze for the exhaust past
the cable connection to the pedal. Anyone have a similar setup? Did you get things to snake through there ok?

Can't help on your question but could you post some detailed pics of the headers installed?If you cant host please send them to me and I will for all to see.Want to see how close of a setup it is to a 460 - 68 Galaxie.

The upper control arm area looks to be a lot more different from the 68 than I thought or hoped they would.Love that lo-kar you got on there and thanks for the pics.

On a mustang, you'll want to be sure you've got clearance. There were a few tight spots on the galaxie. On the left side, I had to cut part of the front body support and on the right, one of the tubes had to be dented to clear the steering box. I imagine things are somewhat tighter for a mustang, but I do really know.
