1970 302 heads on 1990 5.0 Mustang

Are '70 302 heads better builders than the stock e7te heads on a 1990 Mustang? Will they fit on a that motor with the EFI intake and whatnot?

I dont think so.If you wanted a early head i would go with a 69-70 351w head.

Yup they will raise your compression due to the smaller chambers and you might have to change your rockers. The 70 302 heads have rail type rockers and the e7 have pedestal mount rockers.

If compression is what your looking for, however the ports offer no advantage to the E7's, and you will end up spending money getting rid of those press in studs and rail rockers if you havent already. Just port the E7's instead!

Yup, port the E7s.

Compression is nice, but without flow, it doesn't mean much.
