Well spongey[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_spongebob.gif[/img] usually means air in the system as air is much more compressible than liquid ( brake fluid) Other problems would be the rear drums might be out of adjustment which would cause more pedal travel that might feel a bit spongey [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_spongebob.gif[/img] regardless a full inspection for leaks and general condition including all hardware like sliders and springs etc. would be in order. It may do you well to bleed the entire system too. A poor pedal can also mean a bad master especially if it leaks down. HTH Stu
