Weiand Xcelerator manifold
World roush 200 assambled heads

why? Blower would work? or pistons swap?

I inted to drive it on a daily basis, would t be possible due the temp increase?

My Roush-Headed 302 is putting out 250 RWHP (and it needs to be dyno or track tuned badly) I drive my car everyday and have about 10:1 compression. I have an aluminum radiator, so have had no overheating problems, but 1 point of compression really shouldn't make you to overheat unless you have a small radiator. I have a smaller cam than you (Comp Xtreme 268H) so you should pick up a few horsepower from my combo with the one you have. I am also running an Edelbrock Performer RPM instead of the Xcellerator (i dont know how good that intake is?) I think whats holding my numbers back is the carb I'm running. Its a 725 Road Demon. I want to replace it with a 650 Double Pumper, and I think that will make a big difference.

I don't know what kind of numbers your trying to get, but the heads are not the limiting factor in my case by any means.

Good Luck!

I like everything but the manifold. The ports are small compared to the heads, but they can be enlarged I guess.

Build it and enjoy!

My Combo as follows

Roush 200 heads milled to 61cc
kb popups equal 10.4 to 1 (cced no guessing)
E303 roller cam(soon to be upgraded to comp cam 274 roller)
Rear wheels puttin down 282hp
I typically run 3.80s gears
3200 stall from coan

12.40s in the quarter in street trim.

Slicks cut of another .3

have ran a personal best 11.87 while borrowing a 50hp NOS
and slicks

I plan on being in the mid 11s or lower this spring with the cam and carb matching and if need be some 4.11 gears.
I have never dropped the exhaust either, to lazy maybe low 11s are possible.

IMO Gears and comp ratio are important and a good stall when running bigger heads on small displacements. Helps with the soggy bottom end. Light weight cars suffer less from this but still........

My temp never exceeds 195. I have a edelbrock water pump, griffin aluminum Rad and Mr gasket electric fan.

Timing is mechanical advance MSD distributor 34 Degree total all in by 2500rpm

Crane Ignition box with Rev Limiter set to 6400 rpm
Car weighs 2750lb with me in it(close guess)
Good Luck

I have never built a blower motor so cant help you. However I would personally drop the comp ratio some based on what I have read to run a blower. Also an ignition system that has a boost retard feature. Past that somebody else got any advice
