How do i reverse my belt tensioner?

Is it possible?I thought i seen it somewhere?

Is it hard to do?Anyone got instructions or know how?

Gm,WHAT are you trying to do???? Your serpentine belt can be run 2 ways and will work with the reverse rotation waterpump!!![img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_tup.gif[/img]

How do i reverse my belt tensioner?

I have heard of doing that to the belt tensioner, but only to eliminate all the accessories on the drivers side of the motor. Does not look easy nor safe w/o the right knowledge or tools.

How do i reverse my belt tensioner?

This is what I did, do not know if you are talking about the same thing. It is only held on by two bolts now. What I did was enlarge the holes that needed to be used to mount it in the position as shown to fit the bolts that would be used. Since the mounting is triangular in design with two sides being equal it allows it to work this way. Also had to grind a bit off of the top of the now unused mounting hole to allow for valve cover clearance. Standard rotation WP with a ribbed pulley from an 80s 2.3l non-ac and crank pulley from a non-HO 5.0.
