Line lock question

I want to put a line lock on my 68.
There are two lines coming out of the distribution block, one to each front disk.
If I put the lock between the M/C and the dist. block, or for that matter anywhere in the system, will the diferential valve work properly?
Am I right in thinking that the diff. valve will decentralize when the front brakes are locked and the rears have no pressure on them. It seems to me that the system will read this as a rear brake failure and the shuttle vave will lock out the rears?
I need an idea on how to procede.

Line lock question

You are correct. What has to happen is that you will need to T both front lines together AFTER the block, then plumb in the line lock between the dist. block and the T.

Line lock question

I messed up and didn't do much research before installing my line lock, and I put it between the M/S and the dist. block. It works fine, brakes work correctly after disengaging the lock but now the brake light is on all the time so may have screwed up something in the dist. block, I dunno. The correct way to install is to plug one of the front brake line fittings in the dist. block, run the other one to the line lock, and then tee after the line lock to both front brakes.
