bend pushrod

oops today i've bend a pushrod.
no idea what happened, I was just checking my rockerarms.
and I thought, hang on a minute that's not right. there is one which seems to be bend [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img]....
well yeah it was bend. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]

Did you read and follow this post I made regarding your rocker arms? Especially the last part???

If there is too much lifter preload (more than a turn) then the valve might not close all the way and get hit by the piston... causing it (and/or the pushrod) to bend.

I may have over-tightened the nut. **** happens.

You can't really over tighten the nut. It stops when you get to the end of the threads. You've just got to check the lifter preload.
