Want to put seat belts w/ shoulder harness in \'65

I have a 65 mustang coupe. I want to put in high back seats from a 87 stang. i want to use shoulder harness too. Any experiences or ideas?

I think the trick there is that 67 up had the shoulder harness mount already installed under the headliner, even if the car didn;t come with shoulder belts. We used it on the 70 model and bought a belt from a street rod supplier. I just felt aro8und uder the edge of the liner and punched a hole in the right place. You may have to fabricate something for a 65.

Here is how I did it on my 66' (with pictures.) Your 65' would be the same. Just make the roof support washer/nut combo and fish it up the sail panel with a coat hanger.
