5.0 suspension brakes tranny etc. to \'65 falcon ranchero

Well I got access to an 85 h.o. 5.0 mustang minus the motor for a good price and I have a 65 ranchero project. Has anybody ever used the (fairly) modern suspension under a classic like this? I plan on doing some fabrication to connect the sub frames and make it ridgid (if possible), I know it's going to be alot of work but I think the trade offs are worth it.

I will have a beutiful classic car with nice handling, braking and rear suspension, oh and the 347 I'm in begining to build,

I was just wondering if anybody else has done it. I work on big rigs alot, and we have to do alot of frame repairs so chassis work isn't nearly as intimidating to me as it would be to most people to give you a little background thanks,

Jon
