I think the Jr would fit the bill almost perfectly for your combo. The SV might be a little much.

If you haven't bought the intake yet I would highly suggest you buy the air gap. Overall you'll make more power. The VJ would be the only of the two that I would put on such a small motor.

I have a VJ for sale if you need one.

I thought about giving the stealth intake a try but im going to be running a plate nitrous kit also. I would like to use a centrifigal blower within the next year possibly too. Ive just always thought that single planes were better for these applications. Running a dual plane with nitrous is sorta scary i think. I did try it with my peformer rpm though and it worked ok. I guess a stealth would probley work pretty good though. My camshaft is what most would describe as an all motor camshaft anyways. Just want to know what is going to get me through the 1/4 the fastest. Thanks alot

Is it still 351ci?

How much nitrous are you planning to use?

The 351W Air Gap is a lot taller than the regular RPM and is slightly larger inside. You may want to look into it. (302 air gap is same size as the rpm)

The AG will make more power below 5500 rpm, the vic jr will take over from there. Decide where you want your power.

The dual plane will be okay with nitrous as long as you keep it below around 150hp.

Good Luck!

Im honestly not really sure where i want my power! I loved the torque all over with the Edelbrock RPM but just figured a victor jr. would better suite this motor. I guess it all depends where the heads and cam sign off rpm wise. With my torque converter though i might be better off with a RPM Air Gap or a Stealth.... Anyone else have anything to add. I really appreciate all the help guys. Has anyone ran both of these?

Hmmm, I ´ve run them all in my Futura: Performer, Performer Rpm, Rpm AirGap, Stealth, Vic Jr and this season a Super Victor will be tried. I´ve had both 351 and 393 displacement engines with these intakes.
For good overall performance go with the AirGap.It will provide you with all the power, esp with nitrous, what a street 351 engine needs.Just remember that a dual plane needs a bigger carb than a single plane. For example, the " standard" intake for the 393 in the Futura is a Vic Jr.Last summer I tried the Airgap. It provided some more driveable tq than a Vic Jr but was clearly behind it above 5500 rpm. But, I was using the same 750 demon as with Vic Jr. Dual plane requires a bigger carburettor. The added cubes of 393 vs a 351 definitely building tq so for a stroker a single plane might be desirable.
Few years ago I had a 357 W in the Futura. It had a Vic Jr + 750 Holley, Dart iron heads( 200 cc intake ports) a 248 degree mech cam. It was not enjoyable to drive on the street on regular basis since it felt like a 2 liter Escort below 4000 rpm.Revved furiously from 4500 to 7500 rpm.
When I changed the intake to a Stealth, heads to ported GT 40s( appr 170 cc intakes), a 750 vacuum carb , 224 I/E cam the engine was a joy to drive in everyday traffic.Had low/midrange torque to climb a tree and still revved furiously to 6500.
For the street 351 go with a dual plane + vacuum secondaries carb.
