changing camshaft
when putting a bigger cam on a 5.0 mustang do you have to change the lifters.

How big of a camshaft? I wouldn't say right ahead nope, because if you choose a cam that has a high rpm range, then the roller lifters will be too heavy to operate. It is probably safe to assume you aren't looking to have it scream at 7k, so you will be fine.
