changing camshaft

when putting a bigger cam on a 5.0 mustang do you have to change the lifters.

Is it a ROLLER motor?Meaning does it having rollers on the lifters?If not then its a mechanical FLAT TAPPET and yes you change them along with the cam.

the motor is a roller it is from a 89' mustang 5.0 HO

As long as rollers are in good shape they are reusable.
