Stupid SB questions from a BB guy

the timing chain cover is the same, the water pump is not !
if you try to use a 302 pump on a 351w your pulleys will not line up and it is to far off to use spacers. The bolt holes lineup but the 351w pump actually is about a 1/2" thicker.

Stupid SB questions from a BB guy

Maybe it is 28 oz. The balancer part # is C9TE-A1, so it should be 28 oz. I just thought the flexplate had to be 164 tooth. And the balance pad looked fairly big, so I assumed it was a 50oz. It was about 2.00AM when all of this went down, so confusion reigned. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lame.gif[/img]
