what intake to use for 351w????

I am building a 351w .60 over with stock crank , rod and pistons. I am going to take the heads off my 306 and put on the 351w until i can get the cash for afr205's.My heads are 73 heads with 1.78/1.45 valves closed chambers, ported. I am going to put in a cam with these specs 236/246 @.50 520/538 lift with 114 lobe seperation.Iam putting on 1 3/4 long tube headers and i am running a 750 cfm holly with mech. secondaries but i cant decide which intake to go with a victor, an air gap or a stealth, but remember i am going to go with better heads and stroked to 393 in the futur so i want an intake that will work well on both motors. This is a five speed car so i am not worried about bottom end torque because when i race i leave at 5500rpm! Hah! that's the Ford Racing cam. I'm running same thing in my 408 ( 414 ) which is also .060 over. I am using 200cc heads with a Victor Jr and a 750DP.

That's a fairly serious cam. Don't know if I'd run that with those older 73 heads unless they've been well ported, but .......

If I were runnning it non-stroked, I'd run the Weiand Stealth or the Professional products dual plane for the 351W.

The air gap is very good, probably the best overall intake for the 351W but it's tall....actually taller than the Victor Jr. and it's not cheap either. I don't feel it's worth it personally, but again that's your call. With those 73 heads I'd run the Stealth. It will also handle a head upgrade in the future too.

I know somebody that is selling one by the way. Some guy I ran into on one of the many forums I visit. I can forward his email if you want it. I don't know the guy personally, he's just sent me a couple of emails. I was going to run it, but it's not enough airflow for my stroker setup.

I'd say it's close, but probably the VicJr in your case. I just took one off of my 351W, in favor of an AirGap, because my cam is just a tick smaller than yours (CompCams XE274, 230/236 duration @ .050" lift). The 351 AirGap is a tall intake and, unlike its' smaller 302 based counterpart, the plenum and runners have been enlarged for use with stroker motors, which could be in my future one day. I was looking at the rpm for my 351 because it has the power range I want to run but I also had to either buy a new hood for clearence. I decided to build the hood out of my 82 stock hood I am really on a budget

What I was really asking is:
How much bowl work has been done on your 70 302 heads.
Can the bolt holes in your heads be punch out to 1/2" for the 351 without hitting a water jacket.
