Yup spun three bearings. Rear main, #7 and #8. Oil Starvation much?

yup. Oil starvation is about the only thing that will cause spun bearings. That, and clearances that are a little tight.

Hope it didn't hurt the crank/rods....but more than likely it did. Hate to hear of your misfortune, but hey....as an old friend once told me, under every stumbling block lies a stepping stone.

Yeah it ate the crank up, which was already .010 under. My scat rods are worth re-sizing. Didn't hurt the block though. I'm going to get a Scat or Cat crank and put it backtogether, and I'll start planning out this Dart block 347 I've wanted to do.

Restrictive oil filter will also cause oil starvation.

My buddy has a .030 over '69 windsor block he never used. Just sitting on a stand. is buying that and making a good 393 worth swaping all of my 302 stuff for?
