Gotta fit em Under the car??

Hey guys, Im fresh here, first post. I have a 1966 thunderbird that I am rodding out. I know... to some this is considered a crime but, I have only seen one other while searching the net and I know when done, it will be like no other. My question is, does anyone know what the correct backspacing, offset and any other numbers I need to take into consideration for putting a set of intro wheels on it? I plan on doing a 18x10 in the rear and 18x8 in the front. I found this car on ebay and this is kind of the look I'm going for.

There's very few 60's era cars running 18" wheels. You're probably on your own on this one. Get a straight edge and lay it on the drum in enough positions to find out where the closest clearances will exist. Use those clearance dimensions to set your required back space. As anyone who's ended up with tire rub will tell you, measure three times before ordering your wheels/tires.

And, welcome to the Fordmuscle forum.

10" wheels ain't gonna fit in the rear fenderwells....8" with approx 4.5" backspace is gonna be close to your limit best I can tell.
