question for Mavman

I was wondering if you could tell me more about the combo of the 84 mustang bracket car you have.

question for Mavman

Sure. Just a '84 coupe with a mild 302, filled block, TRW pistons (about 11:1 compression) RPM heads out-of-the-box (no porting) Victor Jr intake, left side header is a Flow-Tech FOX header, the right side is a Hedman (bought the flow tech set used, guy modified the right side to fit a 351 and I already had a good right side header from dad's Fairmont). C4 transmission with 3200 converter (way too tight...but it works LOL). Cam is a solid flat-tappet Lunati, around 240 duration @ .050" lift and .540-somethign lift (bought used). Home built Holley carb that flows around 910 CFM with proform main body and custom base.

Nothing really high tech, just a little 302 in a light mustang (weighs around 2400 w/o driver). Oh, the X pipe makes it sound like it's spinning 9000 RPM...when I only shift it at 6800. Turns heads for sure!
