Barry Bonds drive shaft

Anyone know the stock length for a drive shaft, (center of u joint to center of or total length, don't care which) for a '68 Mustang coupe? The one I have, when installed, has virtually no free play at the tranny to allow for suspension travel.

did you install a t5? the stock length driveshaft I just took out of my 68 is 51inches from the center of one U-joint to the center of the other. I swapped in a 9inch and had to go smaller. this stock driveshaft (originally mated to a C4) worked with room at the trans yoke after the T5 swap. if you need it just let me know.

I bought the car with a 351c/FMX combo and ditched the FMX for a C-4. With the FMX yoke being larger, I was unsure if they pirated the drive shaft from something else as it surely seems too long. I'll measure today and let you know, thanks.

A stock 68 V* shaft should fit. 351C/C4 is the same as a 302/C4.
