I have a 350 horse 302, and I just put a 650 holley on it. At first it idled fine, but my timing was way too far advanced. I brought it down to 12 degrees initial, and it has lots more power, but now the idle surges between 700 and 900 rpm if left for a few seconds. Any ideas on what this is?

One more thing, I have a russel braided fuel line kit, but its installed backwards because I have an electric fuel pump and the fuel line comes from the back, does anyone see any problems with this?

I think me means it inlet is towards the firewall not towards the radiator.
