Slicks/Wheel width advice
Planning on getting Hoosier 26x9/15 slicks and use an old pair of 15x8.5 C/L Audodrags without tubes. Hoosier's recommended rim widths for this tire is 7-8 inches. I thought the rule of thumb was tread width plus or minus 1 inch? These tires have a sidewall width of 10.3 inches on an 8 inch measuring rim. Any problem with going a half inch wider than recommended? Thanks.
