when in first gear with the solinoide activated, what is actuall ygoing on in the drum clutch area,is it the low/rev clutches being applied, and when the sol is deativated the low/rev clutches release,or something differnt, any ideas?
When you hit the button, it's applying the high/reverse clutches at the same time the low/reverse is applied. Chevy and Dodge use reverse, but Ford uses high.
It will all depend on who's? valvebody you have?, High/reverse clutch&lowreverse clutch is the most common, any valvebody that you have to push the brakebutton to back up means it's not applying the low/reverse and only relying on the rear sprag to hold on the brake
