302 HO Cam in Bronco

Hey all, can anyone shed any light on how much of an upgrade it would be to put a factory mustang HO Roller cam out of a 1994 Mustang into an 88 Bronco. I realize the original is a flat tappet but I am thinking of switching blocks as I have a complete core out of the mustang so i have all the necessary hardware for the swap. I also know that it is going to be the windsor firing order. Any thoughts on if it is worthwhile though would be appreciated...

I am rebuilding the engine anyway so just thought this might be a good inexpensive upgrade.

Thanks,
Aaron O

302 HO Cam in Bronco

I have an 87 Full size Bronco. I rebuilt the engine and upgraded to a roller cam with Power heads and a better exhaust and also changed to SEFI. I had used an older F-cam but felt like the idle and just drivabilty was poor although the truck ran fast. I took out the F-cam and put in a stock HO roller. The truck now idles smooth and I think I actually picked up some extra power. You would really have to do alot of upgrading to justify using a bigger cam. Steve
