If you search for opentracker on Vintage-Mustang.com, you'll find posts with contact info for a guy who goes by opentracker. He'll make you a set for about $190. Real nice work, solid construction.

Opentrackers fabrications are top notch and he is a great guy to do business with. I have a set from him on my Falcon which is undergoing a resto.

Put a spherical bearing in your LCA and get a Global West (or equivalent) strut. Some GW UCA's wouldn't be a bad addition to that mix, either.

BTW, opentracker has a document on his site showing you how to make your own roller spring perches...it's not that hard.

The early Falcon/Comet came from the factory with bronze bushed perches with a grease fitting. My '62 Falcon has them. I'm not sure when they went to the rubberized ones though.I saw some on a '61 Falcon at the local self serve junk yard today.

I'd like to get some rollerized spring perches for my 65 Mustang. Does anyone know what the bronze bushed ones from Moneymaker cost compared to the $175 for the rollerized ones from Opentracker?

Why would one be better than the other? Anyone?
