The recommended torque converter for that cam was a 2400 stall. I'm concerned about daily drivability. This will be my first automatic so I'm just trying to sort this stuff out.
I don't know the specs of that cam but if you have not purchased a converter I have one that might fit your needs.
It is a TCI Break-a-way converter. It is rated about 2500. It is the 26 spline unit with a 11 7/16 flywheel bolt pattern. It would work for a daily driver but you could use a little more rear end gearing(IMHO). I am up here in Marysville, so I am close by. (no shipping costs) If you are interested, let me know.
