Anyone running Comp Cams Magnum HR cams?

I was recommeded the Magnum 281HR cam for use in my 331 stroker. Is anyone running this cam? I'm shopping for a good street cam.

Depends on your set-up, Tell us what your running for compression, heads, exhaust, intake, car weight, gears, ect....

The engine is as follows:

9.6CR
Edelbrock RPM 2.02 heads
Car is about 2800Lbs
Shorty headers with dual exhaust
3.0:1 rear gears
C4 tranny

The recommended torque converter for that cam was a 2400 stall. I'm concerned about daily drivability. This will be my first automatic so I'm just trying to sort this stuff out.

I don't know the specs of that cam but if you have not purchased a converter I have one that might fit your needs.
It is a TCI Break-a-way converter. It is rated about 2500. It is the 26 spline unit with a 11 7/16 flywheel bolt pattern. It would work for a daily driver but you could use a little more rear end gearing(IMHO). I am up here in Marysville, so I am close by. (no shipping costs) If you are interested, let me know.
