How much power can i expect from this?

This may be a little difficult to answer since every engine performs differently but im sure someone can give me a good estimate.

I have an 80' 302 block bored .060 over and did a basic rebuild using forged TRW pistons stock rods, stock crank reconditioned,as for the cam im using the Z-268-2 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft & Lifter Kit
Lift: .490''/.504''
Duration: 268°/274°
RPM Range: 1800-5600
BBK 1 5/8 shorties,H pipe,40 series flowmasters,rebuilt C4 2,000 stall and shift kit(i know i need more stall i plan to go to 3500),and 3.73's.

When i come home on leave from the ARMY i plan to use a set of WINDSOR jr's from world products, and a WEIAND blower (174ci).With these speed parts and current combo what can i expect from this?

Also is this cam a good choice with this blower?Sure sounds good at idle lol.

WOW!Thats it?Why so little? Are those heads not the best performance choice?I was told they were one of the better ford small block heads is this not entirely true?

How can i get her up to 500HP or so?I assumed with the blower that was an easy goal.Any ideas are welcomed.

I would say that you will be making 400 hp but with lots of torque. Those heads and blower are very mild. If you want to make 500 hp I would go with some windsor sr.s and a bigger blower like a 6-71 or a centerfugal type (if you have the money). I saw a buildup of a chevy 350 that made 416 hp before the blower and 471 hp after, it did make lots of low end power though.

You could split the 302 block with a BDS 671! 500HP is alot for a stock block 302. At least on the ragged edge. With it being .060 over and a blower on it WILL run hot.

You could make 500 hp with that blower. You will need more cam, preferably a hydraulic roller and stroke it out to 331 or 347. Also, a better set of heads. The Dart Pro 1 190cc heads are a bargain for what they flow. Also, ditch the .060 block because at that level, it's gonna split. Go aftermarket for a block if you can afford it, it's worth every penny.

If you HAD to run that block I would use a main support and a set of girdles up top. Check out Horsepowersales.net, they have lifter valley girdles that tend to help with the dredded split. Tim.

Lifter valley girdles are a joke. Many threads on the other stang forums about them. The intake manifold does a superior job compared to those rip-offs.
