Idle air bleeds

I am trying to tune a Proform VS body matched to QUickfuel VS base plate, My screws were out 2 1/2 turns using a 67 bleed on the primary, Contacted QUickfuel they recommended a 61 , after putting them in I was only able to get a 1/2 turn back so I am still at 2 full turns out to get the best idle, Should i continue to drop bleed sizes or look for another problem? the carb is a solid cammed 460 .

What problems are you having? If it runs fine, just leave it at 2 turns out.
I would of thought that increasing the fuel restrictor size in the metering block would enable you to shut the mixtures screws a bit more, if thats what you are after.
