Changing mechanical linkage clutch pedal to cable clutch

How hard is it to change a clutch pedal with mechanical linkage to set it up for a cable clutch linkage, i have the clutch quadrant.

If you use the kit from Ron Morris Performance, you won't even have to make a new hole in the firewall.

pedal doesnt need to change.

Can it be done without buying one of the kits? I would rather not spend the $250 on parts that i have already, or just a little differant.
