302 351c flexplate question.

I looked for a flex plate for my 351c/c-4 on ebay and cant find one, but there is a ton of them for the 302, are they the same ? If so are the scat brand sfi flex plates good ? or are they all the same ? thanks.

302 351c flexplate question.

my aussie LTD came factory with a 302c + c4,when i changed to a 351w all the cleveland stuff-flexplate,trans,tc- bolted right up without any issues so i cant see why a 302w flexplate wouldnt work on a 351c +c4,must be the right balance of course

302 351c flexplate question.

For a small bell C4 use a 157 tooth flywheel 10 1/2" converter bolt circle - same part for 302 and 351C.

Do not use a 351w or 5.0 (50oz) on a cleveland motor.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Clevelands and 289/302's 28oz balance and 351w and 5.0's 50oz.

Yes if your going to internally balance the motor then I guess you need the zero balance flexplate. You will have to go aftermarket or get the machine shop to rebalance a stock one.Ford motorsports should have them as well.
