no spark

Well for the last 3 months the car has been runnin great other than a slight hi speed miss above 5000 rpm's, fires right up on the first crank. This is a rebuilt 302, Duraspark distributor and blue grommet module, and an MSD tfi coil.
Yesterday morning driving around fine, shut it down for 20 minutes and had a hard time re-starting. hmmmmm. Wasn't hot either, just normal running temp.

Then last night it wouldn't start at all, no spark from the coil. I'm gettin 12 volts to the coil so I'm guessing the ignition switch is workin, anyone know of any home tricks to check the module and coil?

Module... no, but coil... yep. Take a multimeter and test from the pos. side to the coil wire out, then the neg. side to the coil wire out, then pos. to neg., write those OHM readings and compare them to a new or currently good coil and that should reveal the issue there.

you can check the modual , there are ohm readings for the modual as well you can get them online i have checked one before it tells you what posts should have what reading

The back of the module is fried, lots of melted rubber oozing out. I'm gonna take a guess and say thats it.
