flow testing should be for nothing more than the individual to compare and see if they are mkaing gains, dont ever race someone else flowbench cause its meaningless. Theres a few people that know the big blocks well. What kind of pricing do you have in mind in your budget?

Well, I know that John at strokerengine.com wants 1000$ for a cnc portjob of the heads and I'm tempted of that, he claims a 50 - 75 HP gain. so I say in the 1000-1200$ range.
Hhat do you mean by : dont ever race someone else flowbench cause its meaningless.... I'm from Denmark and my englihs is not too good.

I think what woody1 is trying to say is, dont always pay attention to who has the best flownumbers cause every flowbench is different

</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE>right, alot of guys will use different bore size, different pipes, etc.. when testing so if X head flows 300 on the intake at shop A and the same head flow 320 at shop B thats not really a fair comparison by any means

I've had good results from Steve Schmidt Competition Engines. www.steveschmidtracing.com Just had some work done on a set of small block heads and I am very, very pleased with the work they did. Its not a huge shop so you still get attention. The fact they build nhra pro stock engines speaks for itself.
