Will 3.73\'s or 3.89\'s benefit me?

Hey guys I'm really short on money right now and it seems I wont be able to afford to go all out with my 351c or 460 anytime soon. I'm going to be running a stock bottom end 351c with cast pistons and 4v CC heads. I'm thinking of running the comp xe262h since I already have the springs for them. I know it says 3.23's and stock stall but this car is only a weekend cruiser and I want to be able to smoke the hides. Would it benefit me to run 3.73's or 3.89's with this cam? (I'm not worried about mileage and its a 4000 lb torino to get moving.) and also would it help me to get a 2500 stall for harder launches?

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,
Dustin

The more gear the better. Is a heavy car.

How about the 2500 stall? Would this help for harder launches with that combo?

I have a 70 fastback with an Edge 3000 stall and 3.89's and i love it. With the mods that are in my signature, from a dead stop, if i slam the pedal to the floor (not power braking), it will spin my 275/60's until i reach about 30 mph, which is when i hit 2nd gear.
