launch rpm

What would be a good launch rpm for 2200lb car with a 4500 stall converter 5.14 gears transbrake. cam works from 4500-7200. DAN

Usually 500-1000rpm below max stall is what drag racers do. Some even go all the way to max stall. You will have to experiment to see what works best for your car.

Try everything from idle to flat foot and use what gives the best 60'. Varies by car and combo.
