Ross ... you know my thoughts on this mod.

As far as "looks" go, I think it's a real winner ...

Plus the fact that it solves several other issues with the car so ...

I say 100% Thumbs Up ...

where the helk did that icon go anyway?

Re: New look in process for the Mustang

Where did you buy the scoop?? It fits so well. I have many hours in mine and it still doesn't line up with the hood that nice.

Here's a pic:

Tom - only a hole, not looking for a cold air kit, I want some cool air around the intake manifold and the air cleaner will be tucked up inside it

Mike - Crites, 90 bucks with shipping. The front and sides look decent, but I have 4 hrs fititng the back, typical 'glass, its nice but not perfect

Looks Great. I used one from Crites on mine also. Had the normal fiberglass flaws, but the end results were worth the work.

Re: New look in process for the Mustang

That's probably the route I should have gone. How many mounting studs on it?

I made the mistake of removing two of the studs halfway down each side of the scoop. I got it to fit nicely after a lot of work but after sitting out in the sun for a week the gap opened up. I just ran a small piece of white door molding along the bottom edge now all is well and it doesn't look all that bad. Better than no scoop IMO

I still need to measure for how tall of an air cleaner I can fit. My guess is a 14x5.
