CHP or T&L engines?

Anyone out there using either of these sources for their shortblock/longblock or complete turn key engines? I have been looking at the CHP 331 or 347 stroker engine. I have also been looking at the T&L 347 stroker that is starting for $3700. Are the above mentioned good reliable builders? I am a little bit worried about crate engines now at days because they seem to be slapped together and end up breaking shortly after. Any info anout these 2 places would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Cant personally comment on TL, but have heard from relaible surces, they are reputable. As for CHP, I sell a fair amount of shortblocks for them, 0 returns, again take that with a grain of salt.

Re: CHP or T&L engines?

I have used the CHP 347 GT kit and assembled myself. Parts, customer service are top notch. Price was great also!
