Stock Ford roller cam specs
I am wondering if anyone can list some specs for a few years of roller cams. I would imagine some are used in multiple apps.
I would love to know the specs of-
1) 89 5.0
2) 93 (cobra) 5.0
3) 95 5.8 (sotck)
4) 95 (Lightning) 5.8 (Do the L
I mainly need the duration and max lift. They do not need to be fully spec'ed out. I would really appreciate it if someone has the means of finding this info out.
Have a great one!

Re: Stock Ford roller cam specs
Where are you headed with this anyway? I'd be curious to see the 95 R's cam specs cuz it is a roller cam.

Re: Stock Ford roller cam specs
The '95 Cobra had a flat tappet cam. It is still available from FRPP. I run one in my 393W stroker with 1.7 rockers. It is a very torquey cam and will pull to 5-5.5K easily.

Re: Stock Ford roller cam specs
We might as well add explorer cams. There is nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Gathering information for others to have/share is apart of this.
1BAD88- This started with my notchback daily driver project. Its a 306 with 95 E250 351W (E7) heads and cam. The engine came with a 302 cam but I am using the HO ecm and you already know thats a no-no and thats why the 250's cam went in. I went at this project for the lowest money possible but with the best parts I could come up with (the crate 351W didnt even have 10K miles) .
But with that "mystery cam" it does not sound like a normal Mustang, More like a M250 LOL. It pulls great all the way to 5500.
I am basicly looking to see how far away the HO cam is to a 351W E250's cam actually is. Plus enjoy any other information people want to share at the same time.
::A little more:::
Heck, with the O/R h pipe and flow master cat back and stock 2.7 gear, Cruising @ 55-60 mph she is so quiet your passenger can (and probably will) take a nap. You cannot hear the engine at ALL. Ive found that my passenger side seat belt makes a rattle, And there is a very minor squeak coming from the left side dash spear grill. I'd say that isnt too bad for my rusty 87 notch.
