Re: rear view mirror

It would help to know the mirror manufacturer (Gentex 0r Donnelly) and its functions. Does it have map lights, compass, temperature and/or auto dim? My mirror has 3 wires also: Black is ground, Pink is switched 12v and Green goes to the reverse light switch. Did you Google “mirror wiring”?

Re: rear view mirror

It's one from a '91 convertible. I had the wires labled but for watever reason they had fallen off. I'm plan on using it on my hatch since it has no int. lighting at all. And they do have a map light on each side. BtW, theres no pissing match here.
Just askd a simple ques. thas all.

Re: rear view mirror

The first answer was funny as hell and I thought the EXACT SAME THING! LMAO!

Anywhoooo... The black switch is the Ground, the orange is the Switch Power, and the White is the Switch Power.

Explanation: A power top has two powers so the motor can be polarised both directions to open and close...
