Hi,
I am ready to install rocker panel moulding on my 73 Mustang. It presenly does not have the mounting holes so I have to drill all of them. I am not looking forward to drilling holes down there but this chrome is correct for the car so I have to grin and bear it.
My question is::
The moulding kit came with rivets for each backet. Can someone share their experience and tell me if this is the best way to go? I know it will be the easiest but I am looking for the best method from a long term quality standpoint. This is a rare, low mileage 73 Q-Code Grande' Mustang at the end of a ground-up restoration, taken several years to complete, and I plan on keeping this car for many years to come.
Any expert advice on this installation would be greatly appreciated..
Emails welcome.
