Calvert split-mono leafs.What height?
I want to order the slit-mono leafs from Calvert. What height do you think I should go with .I dont want the rear too high.Their options are 1" down ,stock or 1"up.
Does anyone have them and what one did you use and do have pics of how your car sits.
Thanks

Re: Calvert split-mono leafs.What height?
I have the stock height Mono-leafs. Here is what it looks like with 26" tall front and rear tires:
This video shows the rear better (once the smoke clears-hehe):

Re: Calvert split-mono leafs.What height?
It looks like you have a pretty wicked 331!
If the springs sit too high or too low when you get them, Travis at Calvert said they would swap them out. Only one half of the spring gets swapped for ride height differences.
With the 26" tire, my car "might" be on the high side for a daily driver. I run a 24" tall tire on the street and they let the car sit lower and it has a very nice stance.
In your case, I would be concerned about tire clearance if you went 1" lower.

Dennis did you notice a difference in your 60ft vs multi leafs?

Initially, no not really.
I replaced fairly stiff 5 leaf rear springs which were giving me 1.75-1.80 60's. I continued to use the same stiff Rancho settings and messed with different setting with the Caltracs, but I really didn't see any track improvement. Driving on the street was a big improvement since I no longer had the jaw rattling effect when driving over bumps.
After a conversation with Dave Zimmerman of Team Z, he told me to run the 9 position Ranchos at 2-3 settings and the Caltracs in the upper hole with the 4 speed. From then on my times got better, averaging 1.65 to a best of 1.60 on 26x8.5x15's.
I would suspect that your C4 should give you better times than I have had so far. This year I've gone to a slipper clutch and hope to improve my 60's even more.

Wow, Dennis... You're starting to get serious! I really like seeing your enthusiasm!
I wish you lived closer, as we could meet up for a weekend of racing, sometime.
Good Luck!
Mike

Thanks Mike!
I wish you were closer too. I would love to get some good pointers on where to start with my clutch adjustments. Probably PM you soon to get an idea of a baseline.
