Supercharger clearing Problems

I'm installing a powerdyne supercharger on my 88 stang and I'm having problems clearing the hood. The kit is for a 86 to 90 passenger side unit. According to the manual this kit was design to fit under the stock hood!
I only need to lower the engine about a inch.
Anybody knows of motor mounts that can do this? Thanks J

Re: Supercharger clearing Problems

Have you checked with the Powerdyne folks to see if there is information on mounts or mods to the mounts? That would be a good first step. Give their customer service department a chance to help.

My car originally was a 4 cyl; So! I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Also what are you using for an engine? What year? What's it out of?

Re: Supercharger clearing Problems

Do you possibly have the motor mounts on the wrong sides?

Re: Supercharger clearing Problems

I've installed several of these and never had any hood fitment probs. Even put a couple on some 5.0 Explorers with no issues either.

BTW what kit do you have? PN#?
