Turbocharged 2006 Mustang GT
Well, it's been awhile since I've posted.
I still have the '89, but just got finished a little while ago with my turbocharged project on my 2006 GT.
I did all the work myself and wanted to share some pictures with everybody!

No... the only engine modification that was needed was an injector change to 39#. It's not necessary, but I also changed plugs and closed up the gap from .45" to .28" as recommended for the kit.
Didn't even need a fuel pump upgrade or a boost-a-pump. At WOT on the dyno, the fuel pump was only at 25% of it's duty cycle.
The tune is very conservative... that 76mm turbo can produce up to 800 HP. Not that the engine could handle it...

560 hp on stock internals isn't safe. 400-425 rwhp is around the safe limit. If I were you, I'd take it easy until you get some forged rods and pistons in.

It's all in the tune! But, you are right... now the car is running on 8 psi MAX boost. At that boost level it was dyno'd at 430 RWHP. (560 HP is at the crank with an estimated 15% drive train loss).
At that power level, with the conservative tune that I'm running, I'm sure I'll be fine...

I see, I assumed you meant 560 at the wheels. If that's the case then, if the tune's good, your golden.

Yeah... I'd be asking for trouble with 560 at the wheels! 425 was my goal, so no need to keep the boost too high and risk it.
