Engine Surge

Engine: Fuel Injected, 355 Dart Iron Eagle, Probe 347 stroker kit, 30lb Injectors, Comp Solid Lift Cam, Comp Adjustable Rocker 1.6 ratio, TrickFlow Track heat 2 Heads, TrickFlow Box intake, MSD 2 stage, Simple Digintal System engine management.

Motor will only idle if set at 1500 rpm (on a rare occassion it will idle at 850 rpm) but usually surges between 500 and 1500 rpm and dies if I remove my foot from the pedal. When I drive the car on the street and come to a stop light I have to rev up to 2000 rpm and then slowly bring the idle down to 1500 or some days 1200 rpm or it will die.

For drag racing with a 4R70W with a tranny brake this doesn't help with consistency.
