does a thunderbird '84 302 have an 8.8 rear axle?

If I am not mistaken the 84 T-bird has an IRS. The chunk may be 8.8 tho.

8.8's didn't come out in mustangs until a few years after that. I'm not sure when they came out in the T-birds... but I wouldn't count on it having one.

......and the worst throttle body fuel injection ever. I had an '84 with the 302 and it ran out of breath real quick.
