Cool, the alternator is next in the trial. Turns out the 289 steering pump pulleys do not line up so that idea has been nixed. So my next question is, does the 1970 Mustang have the same steering rack as the 67 Falcon? If I buy the steering lines for the Mustang (to fit the 351c steering pump) will they thread in properly to the rack? do they even have the same rack? or am I going to have to find more frankenstein parts to mismatch? if so, any suggestions?
