Mustang II not launching hard. Cheap ways yo improve this.

I just got a spool in my car and it doesn't launch that hard. Seems to be a weight transfer issue to me. Its got enough power and just spins the tires and doesn't squat at all. Anyone have any cheap ways to improve weight transfer and traction.

I just got some 275's for it. So I dont think rubber is as much of a issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

I Think you might need to supply some more details of the car first
What do you have as far as front suspension?
What do you have as far as rear suspension?
What type of 275 tire are you using?
What size engine? weight issue

What kind of tires are you running, I've never tried drag radials, but with 26x9.5-14 hoosier quick time pro tires, some mild suspension tweaks, I can get the front tires off the ground on the street, if the road is good. I'll break down my suspension for you:

Stock v8 springs all the way around, cheap non gas shocks in the back, 90/10 drag shocks in the front 67 camaro shocks were close, I just had to fabricate lower mounts for them. home made subframe connectors, and last, I have a set of old south side machine lift traction bars. My car does not squat at all, the back end actually lifts. Combined with some 4.11 gears and a powertrax no slip locker in the 8 inch rear, it's pulled 1.42 60 ft times.

Here is a vid Video of crazy test run - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting of the last time I had the car out, my pal messed up the beginning, but you can see no squatting at all, the circle track cars were throwing up a bunch of dust at the track next to the strip, and it made the top end of the track slick, you can here me get in and out of the throttle, but that's not the suspension or car's fault.
