Serpentine belt system

Want to convert our v belt to newer setup!!Going to use Gm alt ,no power steering or other stuff!! am I on the right track What factory pulleyswill work the best on my 67 289 in a 64 fairlane Thanks Dave

The 67 should have a 3 bolt balancer pulley, so none of the later OEM stuff will bolt up. Maybe if you redrilled it. March will probably have something for big bucks. If you switch up to a 70+ 4 bolt balancer, then you can use 5.0 6 rib serpentine items with a March #2004 water pump pulley. If you search, you may find some OEM items that might work.

I tried a 93 Tbird serpentine belt system on my 68 Cougar. It looked good, but it wouldn't fit under the hood. It put the a/c compressor and others in positions that wouldn't work on the old Cougar.

Had to get a March system. Works good, looks good but....you pay for it.
