Re: Intake gasket on a 302

My son runs for the cougar door when I say "wanna go for a ride in the cougar"....LOL. My daughter is the same way. There is something about that car that those kids just love to go for rides in. Here's a good pic of them enjoying the front seat........without the keys.....LOL.

Sorry to highjack the thread, but when my oldest girls(18 &20) were about the same age(2&4yrs old) I had a 83 gt with a 5speed and they still talk about me shiften the car and bouncing them around!!!! Great times, great times!

Re: Intake gasket on a 302

The memories kids remember. I'm sure I'll be asked to pick them up from school in a couple of years. Right now, the gleam in their eyes when the word "Cougar" is mentioned is priceless. If I could drive it everyday, they'd want that for sure. Grabbing gears is what it's all about, especially when it plants them further into the seat and they can feel the wind blowing from the windows being down(poor man's a/c)..

Re: Intake gasket on a 302

Funny stories. My son grabs the keys and gives them to me yelling "Brum Brum". I have the poor man's a/c as well but I don't want the drag on the motor anyway, robs HP. That second gear grab is just hilarious with my son as well.

Re: Intake gasket on a 302

Glad I could make you smile today. Yes, the little ones are so fun to be around. I wish they could stay this small forever...... I'm hoping to keep the headaches down as they get older. All you can do is try.
