DOAE-L and D2AE-CA

I have one of each of these, stock DOAE-L and D2AE-CA. Are the crankshafts, cam shaft and the pistons the same or is one a better perfomer (hp) ? Are the parts interchangeable? Thank you.

Both are from 351C blocks. I was told that the D2AE-CA was a Cobra Jet. Does that mean a better crank and cam than the DOAE-L or are the the same?

Yeah I was going to say they are both Cleveland blocks... But you beat me to it

I'd use the 70 Block and the 72 internals and heads... The earliest Cleveland blocks are better than the later blocks.. Or so I've heard just today in fact...
