Mallory E-Fire

Hi:

Does anyone know if the Mallory E-Fire will fit between an Edlebrock Victor Jr. Manifold on a 351W? The stock Ford distributor housing is already a tight fit. Mallory Tech guy says "will be close, use the small cap". However, he says that the small cap gives a 4" diameter, and the large cap gives a 5" diameter. He says he doesn't know the distributor body diameter and does not have one to measure off of! 4" is not going to make it..... A measurement of the body diameter is needed but I cannot get one from Mallory.
