Anyone have a Orange (20T) speedo gear they are willing to part with?

Currently my speedo is reading 12% fast with a 18 tooth gear. My calculations show that I need a 20 tooth to true it up. It will still read 2% fast, but I am willing to live with that. My local tranny builder had a bucket full of 'em. Hate to go back and ask for another one.

Anyone got one that they would be willing to sell?

Thanks

Aaron

PS How do I open my email link?

I need the 20 tooth gear for the automatic. My tranny is an AOD, but I think many gears will cross over. IE C4, AODE. Thanks Aaron

I definitely have a 21 tooth brown and a 19 tooth tan. I have 3 buckets of driven speedo gears so should have a 20 tooth orange if I dig deep enough.

Most Ford automatic transmissions 1964 up used this style of gear.

I am definitely interested. How much would you sell one for?

Thanks Aaron

I bought mine on Ebay from a woman in Michigan. They sell tons of them. Do a search on speedometer gears. Also Ford dealers sell them.

Re: Anyone have a Orange (20T) speedo gear they are willing to part with?

Merlin, you nailed it with the second link. I spent a little time looking last night and found an entire set 18-21 at CJs Pony Parts for 17 bucks. Gonna go that route. My math shows that I need a 20 tooth, but my gears (3.73) indicate that I need the 21 toother. This way I get 'em all for 5 bucks more than everyone else wants for one gear. Thanks for the link. It was nice to know that at least one vender stocked it.
