'93 302 oil from dipstick tube/shuts itself off

I have a 93 Tbird that I am getting ready to part. I primarily wanted the engine/trans for my '67

I drove the tbird to it's parting out destination (approx 10 miles) It ran pretty good this time, but was slow to accelerate and get up to speed. The motor has around 130,000 on it it has been sitting without being run for the better part of 3 years, it still has old fuel.

Anyhow, I drove it the 10 miles and smelled a obvious oil leak. When I pulled in the driveway the car shut itself off and would not restart (this has happened before after idling for 10-15 minutes) I also noticed the oil leak was actually oil coming up and out of the dipstick tube. The temp gauge only reached about the half way mark during the entire trip. I also noticed the radiator is now leaking and had a very small split on the top of the plastic tank. Any ideas? I had to put this in my '67 and have a bunch of headaches.
I know it has a lot of miles. I plan on using this motor for a year or so until I can get another motor rebuilt for it. If you have any opinions or technical advise, I am all ears.

Thanks

It sounds like your pcv valve is plugged and the pressure in the block is blowing back through the dipstick tube.

I waited a couple hours and opened the radiator cap and water spewed all over. It seems like there is excessive pressure in the radiator. It wasn't hot.

The engine will not start after it has been run for any length of time. It needs to sit for several hours before it will run.

I think I would pull the plugs first and check for water in the cylinders. It could be head gaskets.

Which is it? Did it have a split in the top of the radiator that was leaking or not. If it split then you might have a blown head gasket or warped head that pressured up the cooling system. All that oil pushing the dipstick out is another indication of a tired worn out engine. I think you might want to rethink installing this engine in anything before a rebuild.

Both, after being driven I popped the hood and there was a small split in the radiator tank, a small amount of antifreeze was bubbling out. A couple hours later I took off the cap and water spewed all over the place- like a volcano but the water was not very hot.
